Ted Scontras manages two areas for TD Banknorth: Government Banking Department and the Higher Education Group. Accordingly, he oversees servicing the financial needs of public and quasi-public sector clients, institutions of higher education and private secondary schools. Additionally, Ted currently serves on various non-profit boards, including the New England Council, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and the Maine Compact for Higher Education. Prior to joining the bank in 1991, Ted was employed by Fleet Bank and, before that, spent 18 years in private business.
