What is the monthly administration fee?
After six months, an administration fee will be deducted from your card balance. Please note that depending on how much money you have on the card, the monthly fee may reduce the card balance to zero prior to the expiration date on the card.

The TD Banknorth Visa Gift Card will no longer work. It can be destroyed.

No, the card is non-reloadable and has a one-time value. Once the dollar value is used, the card has no value and must be destroyed.

No. Cards have a three-year "good thru" date which is embossed on the front of the card. If the card passes the "good thru" date, and a balance remains on the card, customers can go into a TD Banknorth branch to obtain a new card. There is no fee to replace a card that has passed the "good thru" date.
What if the merchandise or service costs more than the value of my TD Banknorth Visa Gift Card?
When you present the TD Banknorth Visa Gift Card as payment, simply inform the cashier of the remaining balance on the card. Then, the remaining purchase amount can be supplemented with cash or another means of payment.

Your gift card is the same as cash and it is like losing cash if it is lost or stolen. The best way to keep your possible losses down is to call us at 800-884-4593 immediately. For a stolen card that has been previously registered, a replacement card may be issued for the value remaining on the card at the time it is reported stolen. Lost cards will not be replaced.
