Through the TD Charitable Foundation, we focus our grant-making to help sustain the well-being of the communities we serve. Grants are made only to qualified, federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, and should support specific program initiatives that must be detailed in the grant application. The TD Charitable Foundation limits grants to community-based organizations that service communities in which we do business.

Sponsorships are funds paid by TD Banknorth to any eligible organization – whether for-profit or non-profit – that provides the bank with marketing opportunities. We handle sponsorships both at the corporate (Corporate Sponsorships) and local levels (Community Sponsorships).
