Introducing TD Bank

When we announced that TD Banknorth and Commerce Bank would join together to become TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank^®, we committed to keeping you informed about our progress.

We’ve begun to change the signs on our buildings to TD Bank — our next step in Building The Better Bank.
Today, we are excited to announce that we’ve changed the signs on our branches and ATMs in the Mid-Atlantic and parts of Connecticut and New York. You'll still see TD Banknorth on our locations throughout the rest of New England and New York until the fall of 2009.

Since it will take some time to completely transition to the TD Bank name, we will introduce it first where it brings the most convenience to our customers. For example, we changed the signs on our buildings in the Mid-Atlantic, where combined, TD Banknorth and Commerce Bank have hundreds of locations. With TD Bank signs on our buildings, customers can easily recognize where they can do business.

This is great news for you. Now, you can bank at over 400 TD Bank locations in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Just look for the TD Bank sign — you’ll know you’re in the right place.

You can also bank at over 300 TD Banknorth locations in New England and New York.

More locations mean more convenience for you.

Day-to-day banking materials will not change at this time.
You’ll start to see TD Bank more and more, but it will take some time to complete the transition to the TD Bank name. All of our customers will continue to see TD Banknorth on statements, receipts and other day-to-day banking materials. These won’t change until the fall of 2009.
